“ A Gathering Place “
Our Center is a place where all families are welcome to drop in. People can come in and meet others, have a coffee , gather resources, obtain information, make phone calls, or join any of the programs we offer.
People accessing the centre will have the opportunity to participate in groups, meet one on one and receive guidance from Elders and spiritual advisors. All programming is free and lunch and supper will be served during programming. Transportation is provided if required. (please give at least a days notice to have transportation set up.)
Aboriginal Parent Link Programs
Baby Bounce, Toddler Tumble Tuesdays 11:30am-12:30pm
A Partnership with Crystal Kids. This program is operated out of Crystal Kids on 8718-118ave.
This is a great way to teach through play and to interact with your baby.Scrapbooking “All About Me” Wednesdays
4:30pm-6:30pm
Put together your treasured pictures and other items in one special book at the APLC.Mom’ & Tot’s Storytime Fridays 11:30am-12:30pm
A partnership with the Edmonton Public Library. This program is operated out of the Library on 11555-95 Street.
Learn the importance of reading to your babies and how to utilize your library as a resource.
Elders Breakfast Friday 10:30-12:30
A place where elders can socialize and mingle with their peers. This program is offered at the APLC.
